Certification Process
The certification of pressure equipment involves the following steps:
1. Acceptance of the economic offer.
2. Submission of the certification application.
3. On-site inspection activities for type examination, verifications, or supervision.
4. Deliberation and issuance of certification.

Application opportunities
The Directive 2014/68/EU applies to pressure equipment or assemblies of pressure equipment (vessels, steam generators, piping, and pressure accessories).
The recipients are the manufacturer or their authorized representative established in the European Union for pressure equipment/assembly intended to be placed on the European market and CE marked.
PED certification is required for conformity assessment modules and approval of the operational methods of personnel involved in permanent joints.
